Volunteering for Health - please take the survey
Volunteering for Health is a £10m national programme to show how volunteering could be a vital part of delivering health and social care now and in the future.
Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent is one of just 15 areas in the country chosen to deliver this project which is being led locally by VAST, Support Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Partnership.
Funded by NHS Charities Together, NHS England, and CW+ Trust, the three-year project aims to promote volunteering in the sector as well as providing volunteer opportunities for those who work in healthcare roles.
But it’s important to know what people think the barriers and opportunities are. We are seeking participation in three surveys; one for NHS staff, one for NHS volunteers and another for NHS patients and carers.
Project officer Mariana Sabova said: “Participation in the surveys will shape how volunteering for health can be positive and meaningful for staff, volunteers, patients and carers. We are asking people to get involved and make a difference and to please share.”
