All children aged five to 11 are to be offered a COVID-19 vaccination from next month. The Government has announced this stage of the vaccination programme roll out will start on 4 April.
By adding COVID-19 to the other vaccinations routinely offered to children, it is hoped that it will prevent them from missing out on their education and things they enjoy. Parents will be able to have their child vaccinated at vaccination centres, pharmacies and GPs offering jabs for this age group. They can view these sites and make an appointment through National Booking Service or by calling 119.
