Press release from Healthwatch Stoke-on-Trent:
Healthwatch Stoke-on-Trent is the independent local champion for health and social care services in Stoke-on-Trent. Part of our role is to understand the experiences of people who are using the services and to give people an opportunity to speak up and have their voices heard.
We are interested in your opinion of primary care and community services in Stoke-on-Trent. The future provision of primary and community care services is being considered, with the aim of offering enhanced services for residents as part of the Integrated Care System Plans. This does not mean that Healthwatch considers the current service offer is lacking in any way. However, Healthwatch does see this as an opportunity to have your voice heard and provide influence on the considerations being given to the range of services that could be offered in Stoke-on-Trent.
We must stress this is very much an aspirational exercise undertaken independently by Healthwatch Stoke-on-Trent to simply see what residents’ views are of what services they think would benefit them and, or their local communities. The lists within these questions are not exhaustive. Perhaps you have previously used a service that doesn’t appear on our lists, which you feel would be good to be delivered in your locality also. Question 6 gives you the opportunity to add additional services that you would like to see delivered alongside primary and community care services.
Your feedback will be anonymous. We will use your anonymous information, along with that from other people, to write a report that is shared with health and social care commissioners and service providers, such as NHS England, Clinical Commissioning Groups, NHS Trusts, and Local Authorities. It will also be published on the Healthwatch Stoke-on-Trent website and our social media.
