Diabetic Eye Screening - Walk in clinics
If you have Diabetes, you are at a higher risk of losing your vision. Diabetic Eye Screening is an effective way to stop this.
Diabetic eye screening is an important part of your diabetes care. Screening is the best way to find diabetic retinopathy early, which can prevent or reduce damage to your eyes and sight loss. Importantly, Diabetic eye screening is not the same as a regular eye test with an optician. Having regular eye tests is important to check for other conditions.
Some people find it difficult to arrange or commit to appointments in advance, that’s why walk in clinics are starting across Stoke-on-Trent from January 2025. Please see below for locations and times.
