Arthritis Action are delivering a project in the Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent area, focusing on the importance of community in self-management.

They want to celebrate the role of community organisations in supporting individual’s physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, by capturing the experience of living with arthritis.

They would like to interview 5 people from the community to find out about their experience of community support in their arthritis, working with a local photographer to produce portraits of them in the community spaces that support them, with hope the project will culminate in a small exhibition of the portraits.

They are looking to partner with community organisations and charities in the area, hoping for 5 participants across 5 spaces. In return for your help,  they can offer a free Arthritis Action membership for one year and a reimbursement to cover any incurred expenses to the participants.
