Listening Skills Training
Many people think that “listening” is as simple as hearing someone else speak. But in reality, it’s less hearing, more listening. Without being able to really listen to someone, messages can be easily misunderstood or misinterpreted. This can cause a breakdown in communication. Listening is a process that requires effort.
Listening is about processing what you are hearing and understanding how that information is being shared, be it through words, tone of voice, or body language. It is about interpreting what you are being told; being aware of both verbal and non-verbal messages.
