Refreshing the Children and Young People's Strategy

Stoke-on-Trent City Council are embarking on an important journey to refresh the Children and Young People’s Strategy (formerly known as Room to Grow). This Strategy aims to improve the lives and opportunities of children, young people, and families across Stoke-on-Trent.

Through close collaboration with partners in education, health, police, and the city’s voluntary and community organisations, they are committed to ensuring every child has the chance to grow up healthy, safe, and supported, regardless of their background or circumstances. You are invited to share your thoughts on the biggest challenges facing children in our city and the support they need to thrive. Your feedback is invaluable in helping design better services, improve opportunities, and ensure children and families receive the right help at the right time.

For more information about the proposed Children and Young People’s Strategy, details on how to participate in the consultation, and where to email your views, please visit Children and Young People’s Strategy Consultation

The consultation will close at 5:00 PM on Friday 16 May 2025.

Thank you for contributing to this shared effort to create a brighter future for the children and young people of Stoke-on-Trent.
