As a Community Health Champion, you play a vital role in helping people to better understand health issues and sharing clear and accurate health information in your communities.
We are launching fortnightly drop-in sessions with Public Health leaders and health and care colleagues in the city in an informal online setting.
These fortnightly drop-in sessions are a great opportunity for Community Health Champions like you to ask questions and share the issues and concerns affecting those in your community. As a Community Health Champion, you will also be able to give feedback on what your community tells you is working or not working well.
Ahead of our first session, it would be helpful if you could submit a question by emailing [email protected].
If you are unable to attend on the day, we can raise a question on your behalf and feedback responses to you.
Our Q&A Sessions launch on Friday 8th October at 11 am (via Zoom). Find out more here.
Following this our Q&A Sessions will have a regular timeslot, fortnightly from Monday 18th October at 2:00pm and we will send regular reminders in our weekly briefings. To attend the first session, please contact [email protected] to get the Zoom link.
We really hope you will find these useful and informative sessions.
