The first in a series of COVID-19 vaccine confidence training sessions is due to take place on Monday 22nd November.
The session aims to help volunteers, community champions and others involved in speaking to communities and promoting vaccination to understand more about the vaccine and increase their confidence in having these conversations.
The training, which focusses in this session on the Newcastle area, is taking place between 12pm – 1pm via Teams and includes:
- An overview of the data in Newcastle (where the low uptake areas are/who the low uptake groups are)
- A talk about vaccine confidence from a clinician (covering what a vaccine is, why it’s important, how it was developed quickly)
- Q&A session.
Please share with colleagues and contacts that you think would benefit from increased confidence in talking to members of the public about COVID-19 vaccinations.
