Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) want to improve services and achieve the greatest impact for children and young people in Stoke-on-Trent with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Whilst there is a lot of good work happening across schools, social care and health services, they want to do better. Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent NHS ICB are developing a Joint Commissioning Strategy for children and young people with additional needs, special educational needs or disabilities. This will be their plan over the coming years on how, what and where we can all work together.

However, to do so the views of lots of different people are needed, from children and young people with additional needs, special educational needs or disabilities and their families, to professionals such as teachers, social workers, nurses and therapists. They want to know what you think is important and what should be prioritised to improve services over the next five years.

Please complete this short survey to help improve these services going forward. Please also share this with your communities and groups within Stoke-on-Trent, so that as many people as possible get the chance to share their views.
