Have Your Say | Palliative and End of Life Care Strategy

Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (ICB) is currently developing its All-Age Palliative and End of Life Care Strategy 2025 – 2030 in collaboration with System partners and key stakeholders and communities.

The strategy will recognise and address the priorities of Ambitions for Palliative and End of Life Care: A national framework for local action 2021 – 2026 (National Palliative and End of Life Care Partnership) and align with patient, provider, and stakeholder priorities. Improving palliative and end of life care is a priority and success is dependent on the ability to work collaboratively.

They will be running two online provider/professional workshops in August and September 2024 and seek your views on the key areas that the strategy should focus on to generate the largest improvements for palliative and end of life patients of all ages from Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

In these sessions, they are seeking the views of anyone who provides or offers palliative and end of life care services, support, or advice. Patients, carers, families, and representatives will have the opportunity to engage on the strategy in the public engagement phase from September 2024.
