Stoke-on-Trent City Council elections will take place on Thursday 4 May 2023, and the city council wishes to make voting at a polling station an enjoyable and easy experience for everyone.
There are many options in place to support those with disabilities at polling stations., these include:
- Large print ballot papers
- Instructions in polling stations and polling booths for how to vote
- Tactile voting devices
- Magnifying glasses
- Use of existing accessibility apps on a mobile phone (please inform polling staff upon your arrival if you need to use these)
- Wheelchair accessible polling booths
- Ramps at buildings with steps
