Diabetes UK are currently recruiting for their research steering groups.

Open to people with or at risk of diabetes, researchers, funders and health professionals, current research is focused on four main areas:

  • what matters most to people with or at risk of diabetes
  • moving faster
  • being more effective
  • attracting more investment

Health Inequalities in Diabetes Workshop

They are also recruiting for, their Health Inequalities in Diabetes workshop details as follows:

If you live with or are at risk of diabetes and you’re from a socially deprived or minority ethnic background, you’re invited to attend a two-day meeting in Leicester on 20 and 21 June 2022.

You will work in small groups, face-to-face, where we will ask you to share your personal experience and listen to other people’s views. Diabetes UK will pay for your travel, accommodation if you need it, and food and drink.  They will also give a £50 voucher for each day you attend.
