Covid-19 vaccination text SCAM – be aware

Stoke-on-Trent Trading Standards are asking residents to be vigilant against a text scam which says you are eligible for the Covid19 vaccine, but then demands payment.

This is a scam!

The message is being sent by criminals preying off the hopes of the coronavirus vaccine by sending scam text messages to fraudulently obtain your banking details.

The coronavirus vaccine is currently available from the NHS and is completely FREE and no one will be asked to pay nor share their personal banking details.
